What is Desh–?

Storage is where most furniture gives up. Too small for the room it's in, wrong depth for what you need, and impossible to expand without starting over. We thought about this for a long time before we built anything.

We come from engineering — which means we think about load paths and tolerances before we think about finishes. It means we care more about whether something works over ten years than whether it photographs well at launch. Structural thinking, in other words.

What we built is a wall shelving system. Three parts: a steel hangtrack that mounts into studs, standards that slide onto it, and shelf panels that hang from the standards. No re-drilling to reconfigure. No replacement when you want to add. The system grows the same way a problem does — one piece at a time.

The name is ours. We are based in Atlanta. We started with shelving because it seemed like the most honest place to start — the place where the gap between what furniture promises and what it delivers is widest.
