How It Works

Exploded view of an adjustable metal modular shelving system against a blue backgroundHangtrack, standards, and shelves form a continuous, adjustable system.

1 – Install the hangtrack

Mounting — Horizontal, fastened into studs
Role — Fixed interface with the wall
BehaviorAll other components attach and remain adjustable
Sizing — Available in 24" and 36" widths, combined as needed

2 – Hook on the standards

Attachment — Hooks into hangtrack
Orientation — Vertical
Behavior — Locks under load, no fasteners required
Adjustment — Reposition anywhere along the track
Dimensions — 85" standard, ships as two 42.5" sections

3 – Place shelves

Support — Brackets attach to standards
Adjustment — Shelves reposition at any height
Depth options8" (display), 12" (books), 16" (storage)
Layout — Rows do not need to align vertically

Sizing the system

Wall width — Combine hangtracks to span
Bay logic — Typically, one hangtrack per bay
Standards — One per bay edge; one per additional bay
Shelves — Typically, start with four per bay, about 15 in apart
